Love the Plover CD as well, and can't wait to hear the full Works Progress Administration album once it's out. I don't know if it's true, but I saw on Wikipedia that "Better Off Here" was recorded as part of those sessions and may make the cut. I've always loved that song, from way back when you were performing it at Largo in your early-ish solo days. It'd be awesome to see it back in action, and I'd imagine it'd sound great with the WPA crew. (And I'm still holding out hope that "Shorn" will one day resurface, too...hey, can't blame a guy for trying.) In any case, happy almost New Year, and here's hoping for all good things in 2009! Best moment happens at the 2:30 mark, when you belt out "not holding on" and Garrison's na-na's coalesce into "to anything." I get tears every time I hear it. Thank you for this.
